Muscular System

Muscular System Function

In the muscle system there are three groups of muscles they are voluntary, involuntary, cardiac and smooth muscle. The muscles are attached to tendons to the bones. Muscles are made of thin cells that are called fiber. The muscle fibers are made up of amino acids. You get amino acids from different foods. Muscles are controlled by electrical signals sent from the brain down to the muscles. When muscles are used they are using energy. The more you use muscles the will get stronger but when you don’t workout they and use your muscles they will gradually get smaller. To prevent your muscles from getting smaller you can work out and get strong. When you do different exercises you workout different muscles.
